Rugby League – It’s the Rock n Roll of sport. That’s according to Sir Cliff Richard, and he should know. With Leeds Rhinos aiming for the charts with their version of Heather Small’s hit Proud in aid of The Sick Children’s Trust, we asked PETER HARDY from BBC 6 Music to trawl through the archives and find out what other League related musical gems are out there waiting for a spot on your iPod. Do you know where I can get a hold of an mp3 file of Danny McMaster’s ‘The Greatest Game Of All’? It is mentioned in the article, and I’ve heard it played over the advert for the New South Wales competition on YouTube – but can’t seem to locate an audio file for it (including on SoulSeek). Thanks!

I agree with Danny, have been looking every where for McMasters song. On the subject of McMaster, he did not do ‘C’mon The Blues’, as he is a Queenslander who did the song ‘Queenslander’. Mick Meredith sang ‘C’mon the Blues’, and he has also in the past done Parody songs for Willie Mason (to the tune of Californication) and Beaver Steve Menzies, to the tune of ‘Viva Las Vegas’
